Exam is the Best

My thoughts on this final exam is very stressful. Mainly because i am not a very strong thesis writer. Most of the time my thesis doesnt make sense! even i get so confused and i wrote it... And im very slow at writing an essay or passage analysis or a close reading response. i normally have to read it for so many times before i get a topic. writing a thesis is prolly the most difficult thing to do in my opinion because i cant write a good clear thematic statement about a passage or a book. I usually get my thesis from Ms Le helping me. Truly Blessed to have Ms Le as a teacher.  I have a feeling this exam is gona take me more than 2 hours because my brain is really slow. Im usually the last one to finish when we write something in class such as the kite runner. i took 2 extra days to finally finish a rough copy. I hope everyone is gona do well in the exam and good luck and study hard. Ms Le is the best

This english year was pretty fun. i enjoyed many of the activitie such as group circles about the kite runner. I really enjoy that little activity we do when we are with a partner and we win candy. but the most frustrating was when chris won that 20 dollaz. cant believe we actually played bingo for a real 20 dollar bill. Thats pretty insane. I loved the artticles and the books we read in class. especially the rez sister. Big joey ma boiii was killin it in that book. The story was pretty funny. I hated the Macbeth part of the semester. I couldnt understand what they were saying. unless i sparknoted it. But i dislike the most was that writing a close reading response to that black and white pic of a cat, a naked baby and a mom. like i couldnt even get my brain to function because it was like looking at a blank page of paper. but after a long time of writing ideas. i came up with an okay thesis. But i really wanted to win that kinder egg surprise contest because they are delicious. Oh , i would like to thank Ms. Le for that Dq card that the boys and I won. That blizzard was mouth watering. I really enjoyed this class and ima miss all the memories. Cant wait for that party next week. Pops and chips party ! Lets get energized!

The Bite Of The Mango

For my ISU, im reading "the bite of the mango". its based on a true story about a girl named Mariatu who lives with her uncle and auntie. The story is set in Sierra Leona ( somewhere in Africa . The story is mainly about Mariatu being attacked by the rebels and she has to deal with the new environment she has to face. she is very lucky because many people helped her survive throughout the book. One main topic in this book is survival. I enjoyed reading this book because it makes me think how lucky i am to be in Canada and not in a situation where a war is occurring and i am not threatened by anyone. I highly recomened this book to people who like to read true stories about survival from war. Best book ive read this year .

Shakespeare should not be taught in class.

I believe that shakespeare is an interesting author and fun to read. but I dont think it should be taught in class because of these reasons. one, it is really hard to read. especially for a kid like me who is not a very strong reader and cant read fluently. I feel like everytime i read, i studder every word and it makes me angry. it seems that its not even english. and it makes me feel like im alone since i cant understand it very well. i can barely understand proper english and now that. Also, there is no really point since everytime we read it, anyone barely understands it and we always look on the modern english translation on the side before we can all understand it. Or we use sparknotes to see whats actually going on. Sometimes, i read a whole scene and i read it again and i still dont get whats going on. but some are common sence but still its very difficult to understand. This can have many negative effects on a student such as getting lower marks for being frustrated of not understand whats going on. Plus its english class, were sopose to learn new vocabulary and write sentences to a clear idea in modern english, not like alot of years back. But to conclude, i enjoy reading macbeth and all the activities but i dont like writing about shakespeares plays, especially when its hard for me to understand what the play is. Cant get a good theme for any shakepeare either. But im glad we work as a class to understand the play clearly and come up with themes and significant quotations which will probably help me a lot.

Does Fate Exist?

Yes, I strongly agree upon fate does exist. I also believe on Karma. I say this because last week, i went to my buddy Ian's cottage for a week. I really wanted to go but my mom thinks i wont make it with my own car. so she risked of me taking her car instead since its newer and wont break down. she kept repeating herself to not get caught by the cops and to not do anything stupid. i also promised her to drive as safe as possible. then i reached my destinantion and i texted her 3 days after that i made it without any collisions or accident. then later that day we ran out of munchies and i had to go to the store 15 minutes away. i made it there just fun. as soon as i backed out of the driveway, i hit a pothole on my right tire and the front bumper of  the car cracked and it was just hanging. i was very scared. thats why i think that was fate. i told her that nothing happened with me but as soon as i sent it and she texted me back saying thats good. right after, i crash and ripped open her front bumper. so, that was all fate . i was really mad. Other than that, karma got me too. i told her i wont do anything illegal. but i drank a couple of dranks and that like messed things up and karma got me in the butt. it sucks. so in conclusion, Fate and Karma does exist. No matter how much you try and avoid it. its gona GET CHA .

Me is Emily

I think the character that most describes me the most is Emily. She swears alot in this book arround her friends. I curse alot when im with my friends. I think this because of the fact that no one will judge you if your with your friends. Its different when your with adults and teachers because its inapropriate in school. Also, Emily is strong willed. I, Myself is pretty strong willed because i normally act on the things i want to do in life even though others are saying me not to do it like doing a backflip on a trampoline :D . its fun, also i like to buy things and buy food even though in the future ill prolly regret it by not having money anymore. Finally, Emily is one tough cookie. She doesnt back down even against some one stronger and much powerful like her husband. Im kinda tough ( not bragging) because even if im totally beat up and are hurting after a punch or a kick to the face, i normally keep my head up and try harder to win. Also, when i get hit in the head with a dodgeball, i just walk it out. her and i are a fighter so she describes me the most. Thanks for reading fellow classmates and teacher :)

Halloween

I think people should be careful of what they are wearing. it could be really offending to other cultures. like cmon' people might think its funny to dress up as a mexican person and it can sometimes offend their culture. maybe its like some sort of special occasion for a mexican dance or something and they really treasure the certain kind of clothing for once a year and people wear them as costumes. idk if that even made sense but u get the point. Also, St patricks day parties are offending the irish people. maybe they are against drinking and    people get wasted out of their minds because the media states that you should get hammered on st patricks day. so overall, people should be careful of their actions and what they wear for Halloween. Also, the media plays a huge roll on making people make their decisions for their costumes for halloween. Like, the new trend could be dressing up as justin beiber with blood allover his face and a black eye with a buncha cuts. with scrawny arms and such. and that could be a negative because you can be offending someone because u dislike him or sumthing. Sorry, this vlog probs make sense but i tried. thanks for reading :)
