"Evil is innate". Discuss the veracity of this statement.
I believe that there is evil in everyone. There are different ways and degrees of being evil though. Most people are able to see the difference between good and evil. I think that everyone has the potential to be evil because they can easily be influenced by evil thoughts. I believe that everyone has thought evil thoughts, but most are able to control the urge to act on it.
I agree. Anyone can be cruel or evil, it just depends on whether or not they chose to be that way. Whether or not they chose to be "evil" can be because of the people around them (like bullying or peer pressure), or their current situation (like if they have something to gain for themselves by being "evil" towards others).
