The Rez Sisters - Thoughts?

I'm interested in hearing everyone's thoughts on the play so far. I think it'll be nice for a change of pace, but I think I'll probably mess the names up a few times. So, I'm curious about everyone else's thoughts on the book so far.

  1. As someone whose friends are all actors, I'm really impressed by the writing thus far. As for the plot? I was skeptical at first (Because, seriously. Bingo.), but the quality of the pages we read may have swayed me to look forward to the rest.

  3. Chris, don't worry about messing up the names at first. As the play goes on, each character will become so distinct that you'll be able to distinguish them from one another.

In future posts, please explain you comments. For example, what do you mean by a "nice for a change of pace"?

    1. Alex, I agree that the play itself is easy to read and understand on superficial level. When you start to delve into the play (the symbolism of Bingo, the 18 wheeler, etc.), you realize that there is a lot more going one.

It is definitely complex enough for Grade 11...I didn't study it until university!
