Thinking about the future.

I got to thinking, and was wondering, does anybody know exactly what they want to do after high school. For me, after grade 12 I do not know what I am going to go the next day, week, or even year. I assume I will go to a college or university and then get a job, not to sure in what yet though. What is everyone else's thoughts on after high school.

  1. Great! I was planning on applying to McGill, Guelph, University of PEI and possibly Michigan State and/or Ohio State. At these schools I would get my undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Science and major in Animal Science. The reason I would apply to these schools is because they offer agricultural programs and I aspire to be a large animal veterinarian.

  2. Wow Katie ! That is awesome ! After grade twelve I would love to pursue to be a doctor. My dream is to become a plastic surgeon, not sure how likely that will happen but it is one ambition of mine !

    2. Interesting, have you thought of any schools you would like to apply to? Would you be interested in leaving Ontario to study?

  3. Interesting thing to be thinking about, I keep forgetting how close we are to having to plan the rest of our lives. It's scary to think this time next year I will be, hopefully, accepting an offer from my dream school UofT. At university of Toronto I hope to get into their 5 year concurrent education to become a highschool teacher. Hopefully you can figure out what you'd like to do, but if not there is always the option of taking a year off to figure things out!

  4. I'm taking a year off to bum around, game and sleep. Life will be great. After that....well I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. I hope it's a pretty bridge.

  5. I have no idea what I want to do in the future. I am just planning on hanging around Orangeville, getting a full time job and saving some money while I figure out what I want to do with my life.

  6. I'm looking at University of Waterloo, there's a physics and astronomy course there that I'm really interested in.

    1. Mickey, I think McMaster has some sort of combined science/arts program. You should look into that. Or become an English/Science teacher...they do exist!
